Drivers Cannot find Realtek in my Device the update option too and it says its already up to date. Still there is no sound. LookinAround Ex Tech Spotter. Dec 31, 2012 #5 List any Problem When I have installed one of the drivers (doesn't matter to which one because it's happening to anyone I try) the Realtek HD Audio Manager isn't showing up in Control Panel. It's when I uninstall the drivers (I remove with iobit uninstaller) that it shows in Control Panel but it will not open. I don't care for it, but I know that it's a problem because my audio is not the same (their not as loud, bass isn't as load) I don't have a crazy system but I know what my speakers should sound like Even if you go to the location where the Realtek Audio Manager executable file is located, double clicking the file will not open anything. So, the bottom line is that you won’t see the Realtek Audio Manager anywhere on the system and, if you do see the Realtek Audio Manager, opening it (double clicking) will not do anything. Installed Windows 7 64-bit and a few drivers, including Realtek ALC3223 High-Definition Audio Driver. Now, the sound is perfect when it's from the speakers, but whenever any sound plays on the headphones (the laptop has one combo jack), it is very loud and there is an unpleasant background noise. If there are no sounds playing, after a few seconds, the background noise stops. (edit) The soft noise stays the same regardless of volume and does not grow louder if the volume is turned up.
